Learn Eight Card Brainwave

As a thank you for subscribing to The Magic Way, I would like to teach you a great magic trick. It is called Eight Card Brainwave. It was invented by a man named Nick Trost. This guy has created a number of card tricks known as packet tricks, which use a small number of cards instead of a whole pack. Eight Card Brainwave has always been one of my favorites of his magic tricks.

Here’s a couple of tips:

Instead of taking out just the packet of cards, you can put the packet on the face of a deck set up to do Red Hot Mama. Take the deck out of you pocket and remove it from the case face up. Take off the eight cards and do the trick. You are ready to do Red Hot Mama after it.
I like to put the Eight Card Brainwave packet into my pocket and bring out a coin or paddle trick. After the trick I pick up the pack and do Red Hot Mama. The time misdirection between card tricks makes the spectator “remember” that after the packet trick you just put the cards back into the deck.
